Amateur Film Festival WIPE is created to give viewers the opportunity to watch films of different genres made by non-professionals, who in turn will be able to meet with their audience.

The word “amateur” comes from the Latin word “amo”, “to love”, and that love for cinema is at the heart of all the works that we show in our film festival. This love not only replaces the film-education for their authors, but also exempts them from all sorts of boundaries, which an education creates. So the amateur films for us is not a conceptual format of the film festival. It is a search for the new film language, which can exist just outside of industrial schemes of production and distribution.

DYSPLA International Moving Image Festival is the world’s first festival dedicated to screening the visual innovation of dyslexic and neurodiverse story makers, showcasing a collection of moving images dedicated to exploring dyslexic narratives.

DYSPLA was established in 2007 to exhibit and produce the work of dyslexic and neurodiverse story makers. From our early stages we have produced and exhibited work internationally, establishing ourselves at the forefront of the dyslexic and neurodiverse creative community.

Dyslexic and Neurodiverse filmmakers have a strong heritage in cinematic history. Stan Brakhage, Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino, Joe Wright, and Steven Spielberg, are a few filmmakers that share dyslexia as their commonality, and as their genius.

DYSPLA will focus on the innovative moving image to define dyslexic and neurodiverse narrative. We aim to explore ideas of dyslexic narrative, how the dyslexic and neurodiverse experience and exhibit the world, and also address ideas of societal reform. Tackling the conventions surrounding neurodiversity and magnifying the benefits within the creative sector.

DYSPLA hopes to mix the elements of a film festival with an art gallery approach by not only presenting innovation in dyslexic filmmaking, but by challenging how the audience experiences the moving image

Ten editions of the festival have been held to date. At each festival, films are judged by a three-member Southasian jury and the best film is awarded the ‘Ram Bahadur Trophy’ for Best Film along with a citation and a cash prize of USD 2,000. The second best film is awarded a citation and cash prize of USD 1,000. The Best Debut Film is awarded the Tareque Masud Award and cash prize of USD 1,000. Aspiring screenwriters are stuck in the perpetual loop of the "chicken and egg" paradox: They can't get representation if their work has not been produced, yet often can't get their work produced if they don't have representation. Also, not everyone has the time or resources to produce an original screenplay independently. Visually Sound Pictures LLC has established its Budget Builder Short Script Contest -- now in its second year -- to help screenwriters and filmmakers achieve their big break!

This year, Visually Sound Pictures LLC has parnterd with InkTip: Where producers go for scripts and writers. Producers have made more than 315 films from scripts and writers they found through InkTip.

Our competition is seeking submissions for short scripts (45 pages or less).

(1) Grand Prize Winner will have his or her script funded for production.
(3) Runner-Ups will receive an InkTip prize package to promote themselves and their scripts to InkTip’s entire network of producers, managers, and agents. Each winner will receive an InkTip Script Listing and have their logline featured in InkTip Magazine. InkTip Magazine is sent to over 15,000 producers and representatives.

The FIC AUTOR (Author's International Film Festival) is interested in unique and artistic films that exceed the limits of traditional storytelling. We look for Feature and Short Films that reflect the director's personal creative vision, and a style that is distinct enough to shine through the collective process.

We don't care if your films have recognized stars or unknown names; we are against the politics and bureaucracy that floods the film industry. We want to be recognized as an objective festival. We don't want to build our reputation based on how many superstars are in attendance; what we want is the truly best world cinema in our theaters!

The first edition of the FIC AUTOR will take place from November 10 to 18, 2017 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, México. We will present the very best films from around the world, and a Master class for filmmakers and students who want to perfect their craft under the hand of our jury guest Cannes Caméra d'Or award winner Michael Rowe. FIC AUTOR will strive to be one of the most important cultural events in the city. We aspire to become an international spotlight for new directors, while building one of top 50 film festivals in the world.

-Every film will receive the comments from the jury for FREE!. (The jury write comments for every film so.. why should we hide them from you? Or why should we charge you a fee for it?)
-The selected Authors will receive the OFFICIAL SELECTION LAURELS to post on their sites.
-The nominated Authors will receive the NOMINATION LAUREL to post on their site.
-And the 13 winning Authors will receive the WINNER LAUREL and winner certificate to post on their site, plus FIC AUTOR trophy or rings and sponsor's prizes.
-WINNERS will be announced until the award ceremony that will take place in the CINEFORO the Saturday 18 November, 2017. The Cineforo is one of the biggest cinema theaters in the city with 440 seats, and is the most prestigious.

We are not like other bulls**t festivals, YOU DONT have to pay for your prize. IT'S A PRIZE, NOT A DEBT! And we don't give metal or glass trophies... Our trophies are 100% made from silver and semi-precious stones! As independent filmmakers we know the things we love and hate about film festivals, so we want to avoid all the negative things we have found the in past years, such as exorbitant, unnecessary fees, teenage judges and other "judges" that don't even watch the whole film or don't even share their comments, and of course.. trophies you would rather hide in the closet.

To encourage the production of media in both the independent and professional market that portray the human race in a positive light, and to applaud original works that redefine media through innovation, creativity and sensitivity that both enlightens and educates audiences from around the world.

The festival considers entries of ALL GENRES from shorts to full-length features, and is held in Southern Utah, nearby Zion National Park and Cedar Breaks National Monument. The location is ideal for the vacation-seeking filmmaker. It is an artist's retreat for film, cuisine, parties, and workshops with approachable professional people. This emerging festival is held each November in Festival City.

The International Red Rock Film Festival. The Red Rock Film Festival was formed in 2007 in Southern Utah, and quickly became a internationally recognized festival with 6,000 attendees in 2008. It made MovieMaker Magazine's list of "Top Festivals Worth the Entry Fee" in both 2009 and 2013.

All films are watched by a previewing committee and scored in Directing, Screenplay, Acting/Talent, Production Values and Post-Production Values. Local or international, friend or stranger, pretty or funky, famous or not: all films are given equal treatment and go through the same democratic film selection.

The demographic is well educated, consisting mostly of empty-nesters, college students and seniors. Other festivals that have accepted more than two of our films have been SXSW, Sundance, Austin Film Festival, Chicago International Movies and Music Festival, Cinequest, Cucalorus Film Festival, Darklight, Florida Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, Galway Film Festival, Mammoth Film Festival, Nashville Film Festival, Reel Rock Film Tour, SIGGRAPH, Sedona International Film Festival, True/False Film Festival, and others.

All genres are considered. Although documentaries have been a predominate focus at the Red Rock Film Festival, festival audience often compliment the variety and diversity of films selected for the festival in Utah. Animation, arts, children, comedy, documentary, drama, experimental, fiction, narrative, romance, sports, student, horror, suspense, mystery, musical, music videos, war themes, women's issues, family, and humanitarian films are all taken into consideration. Cultural diversity is also a highlight at the festival; American, Indian, African, Islander, European, Asian, Latino, Buddhist, Christian, Muslim, Spiritual, Yogi, Hindu, and other philosophical, governmental, historical, and artistic cultures are to be explored.

All genres are considered including animation, documentary, experimental, fiction, music video and student-made films. The festival has several categories of competition, including unique subcategories of featurette and short-short.
The Program Directors may also select additional categories at their own discretion, depending on how many qualified entries are received.

One common question we ask when previewing films is "where do we place them?" We expect some films would be great to release to the theaters, others for television, some for the classroom, for our film series. Of course, we also look for films that would make a great premiere at our festival. To encourage the independent spirit, Red Rock strives to find a home for all films that qualify in competition. This gives the filmmaker a chance to give their work exposure even if they may not make the festival finals. The festival also hosts a mini-film market, special screenings throughout the year plus makes recommendations to other festivals.

The Red Film Market is a small section at the festival where filmmakers and other industry professionals can view films on their own in the festival library or in special industry screenings given to select finalists and other favorites from the festival.
